On Nov. 2 in Temple Performing Arts Center, David Miranda Hardy, an MFA graduate from the Film and Media Arts Program at Temple University, presented the pilot for his new Chilean TV series, Bala Loca.
Since its release, Bala Loca has received rave reviews in Chile. The show finished airing in September.
The series is about a 50-year-old seasoned journalist turned entertainment mogul. After an accident, Mauro Murillo is confined to a wheelchair, and must rebuild his life as he knew it.
We are delighted to announce that the Summer 2015 class is inaugurating our new space at Raleigh Studios! Under the stewardship of Karin Chien and Amy Olk, Temple University's Film and Media Arts department LA Study Away Program has relocated its office and classrooms to the heart of Hollywood in one of the oldest independent studios in Los Angeles. Historic Raleigh Studios was home to stars including Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks; Walt Disney came everyday to his writing office.
