On Friday, August 28, Tomlinson Theater quickly filled to the brim with theater majors, performers, and fans to hear from Broadway star and Lancaster native Jonathan Groff.
Groff took a train early Friday morning to Philadelphia to conduct a casual Q&A session with Temple students, as well as conduct a masterclass before returning to New York City to perform in the new hit Broadway musical Hamilton.
We are delighted to announce that the Summer 2015 class is inaugurating our new space at Raleigh Studios! Under the stewardship of Karin Chien and Amy Olk, Temple University's Film and Media Arts department LA Study Away Program has relocated its office and classrooms to the heart of Hollywood in one of the oldest independent studios in Los Angeles. Historic Raleigh Studios was home to stars including Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks; Walt Disney came everyday to his writing office.
