Beginning on Thursday, October 6, Temple University in collaboration with Philadelphia Young Playwrights will celebrate its 27th year of the New Voices Workshop, with the performances of new plays written by students from local elementary, middle and high schools.

Louis Pepe studied computer science as an undergraduate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, before taking a few film classes and realizing his true passion lied in filmmaking.

A few short decades later, one of his films would be screened in the Sundance Film Festival.

Temple Theaters to Host Screening of In Conflict

 In Conflict, the award-winning play adapted by Douglas C. Wager, will be screened at Tomlinson Theater on November 15 at 7:30 pm in honor of Temple University's Military Appreciation Month. In Conflict, based on the book by Yvonne Latty, is a collection of personal stories from Iraq War veterans. This presentation will include a special Q&A session with Wager and Latty.

Remembering Alan Kosher

The Temple Theaters community is mourning the loss of Alan Ross Kosher, BA '69, who passed away on September 27, 2014, in Philadelphia, PA, at the age of 68 of colon cancer. Kosher was a respected theater professional and supportive Temple Theaters alumnus; a friend and mentor to many.
