LA Study Away Program Prepares Alum for Unique Job

Alumna Jeanette Leh (BA ‘15) found her calling while participating in the School of Theater, Film and Media Arts’ LA Study Away program. Leh, a theater major with a concentration in technical theater and design, decided to broaden her horizons by joining the traditional entertainment industry-oriented program in the fall of 2014.

Madeleine Hunt-Ehrlich, second year student of the Film and Media Arts Department MFA Program, was awarded the Princess Grace Award the 2014 Graduate Film Scholarship.

The daughter of two artists, Hunt-Ehrlich was raised in an artist cooperative ,that provides professional facilities and services for its members , in New York’s Alphabet City neighborhood, and believes this world has shaped her identity as a visual storyteller.

She Stoops to Conquer, which ran at Temple Theaters from November 12 – 22, was a special opportunity for junior theater student William Bankhead to display leadership and skill by taking on a position that has only been given to a select few. Bankhead was given the chance to take full control as technical director for this mainstage production.
