When a poisoned water source threatens the lives of vacationers in a Norwegian resort town, local scientist Dr. Tom Stockmann plans to report the danger and prevent a health crisis. Rather than being lauded a hero, he finds himself defamed, branded a villain, and his family threatened. This timely and high-paced classic drama is an investigation of how we face inconvenient truths and the terrible price to be paid when speaking up for what is right.
