Filmmaking Resources

FMA students shoot video in professional 1080p and 4k formats, and film in 16mm, Super-16 and 35mm. The program takes pride in supplying the tools and resources that make it possible to produce works of high professional quality that compete internationally. Temple productions have been nominated for Academy Awards, selected for Cannes, and have received grand prizes at major international festivals including Sundance. Over the past 25 years Temple has received more Eastman Kodak Scholar Awards (the highest student award in Cinematography) than any other school. The Eastman competition is entered by every major film school in the United States and Canada, plus 44 other countries.
