Yes, all donors receive an official acknowledgment from the university that serves as a tax receipt.

What is the Annual Fund and where does my donation go?

The Annual Fund is the most direct way for the alumni, friends and family to support every effort at the School of Theater, Film and Media Arts. Every year, Temple students, faculty and alumni invest their time and talents in the community, the region and the world. As a donor, your philanthropic investment drives this impact. Annual gifts are truly significant and inspiring.

Where does the Division of Theater, Film and Media Arts need the most support?

With the increasing challenges of financing higher education, Temple University has identified scholarships as the current top giving priority. A new scholarship fund can be endowed with a minimum gift of $50,000, and there are many existing funds which would benefit from gifts of any amount.

I'd like my contribution to go to a particular program. How do I make sure that happens?

You can always indicate a specific purpose for your gift, such as a department's operational budget or a named scholarship fund. If you choose to make your contribution using our secure online giving form, indicate your designation by following the prompts. If you would like to send a check, please specify your designation in the memo line of the check.

I'd like to make a contribution in honor or memory of someone. What do I need to do?

Many donors choose to give in honor of a faculty member or graduate, or in memory of a loved on who believed in the power of the arts. If you choose to make your contribution using our secure online giving form, indicate who is being honored or memorialized by following the prompts. If you would like to send a check, please specify your designation in the memo line of the check. Honorees, and families of those gifts given in memoriam, will be notified of your generosity.

How can I take advantage of my (or my spouse/partner's) company's matching gift program?
Across the nation, more than 20,000 companies set aside philanthropic dollars for matching gift programs. By taking advantage of your employer’s matching gift program, you can double or even triple both the value and impact of your donation to Temple.

To find out if your (or your spouse/partner’s) employer has a matching gift program, click here or email us.

While each company has its own guidelines, most requests are simple:
  • Request a matching gift form from your employer.
  • Complete and submit the form to Temple along with your gift.
  • Temple will verify the completed form, return it to your employer, and a matching gift contribution will be issued to the university.
Mail or fax your completed form(s) with your gift to:
