Does your kid cousin want to learn about how to make their favorite Disney character into a usable audition monologue, maybe your aunt has been thinking of taking up Yoga -- These incredible online non-credit classes from the Center for Cinematic and Performing Arts are taught by Temple faculty and can be taken by anyone! Classes start May 18!

Have you ever watched a great film or television performance and wondered, "how did that actor DO that?" This course is designed to help you learn the fundamental techniques of acting and the craft of adapting those skills to the screen.

Join this 3-day virtual monologue workshop! Using Zoom, we will play group acting games AND craft solo performances. Students of all levels will come together and choose monologues from their favorite Disney and Pixar classics to re-imagine in their own living spaces.

Popular music is all around us and has been a part of our lives since we were children. But how and when did it start? What are the roots of pop songs, R&B, and rock 'n roll? This course will trace the history and socio-cultural aspects of many genres of popular music. We will also develop skills to listen closer to music that we already enjoy.

Through this online course, students will be guided through online yoga videos lead by the instructor, have access to lectures about topics on yoga including chakras and Ayurveda, and engage in an online discussion forum with other students. This workshop is for beginners or those looking to deepen their knowledge of yoga through Hatha Yoga fundamentals.
