Nathan Gabriel is an educator and professional director with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Directing from Temple University. Formerly an Endowed Assistant Professor at the University of Louisiana, he has worked at over a dozen professional theaters, most notably, Shakespeare Theatre Company of Washington, DC; Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. For 3 years, Nathan served as Associate Artistic Director of Cincinnati’s New Edgecliff Theatre, where he created the Cincinnati Directors Competition and won a Cincinnati Acclaim Award. Most recently he directed season one of the fiction podcast series Small Victories from WGC productions. His college productions have earned multiple awards from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for "Excellence in Directing".
