By the accounts of many students, the life of a Film and Media Arts undergraduate and graduate is all about collaborative innovation. FMA students are encouraged by faculty, advisors and residence life leaders to consider Philadelphia a part of their learning experience for its history, the wide range of architectural styles and its location as an international meeting place for art and culture. Other students also cite that taking the opportunity to work on graduate student productions on campus as well as within the city of Philadelphia’s community arts organizations was helpful for finding future work and building global connections.
