LA Study Away Moves to Hollywood

Jun 2 2015

We are delighted to announce that the Summer 2015 class is inaugurating our new space at Raleigh Studios! Under the stewardship of Karin Chien and Amy Olk, Temple University's Film and Media Arts department LA Study Away Program has relocated its office and classrooms to the heart of Hollywood in one of the oldest independent studios in Los Angeles. Historic Raleigh Studios was home to stars including Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks; Walt Disney came everyday to his writing office. Today, it continues to be one of the most desired spaces in Hollywood, housing writers, editors, sound designers, production companies and post production facilities. Currently three TV shows are are filming: Castle, Celebrity Name Game, and Major Crimes.
