Sophia Rowland (she/her) is a University of the Arts transfer student completing her acting degree at Temple.
Recently, Sophia was in a Philadelphia Young Playwrights Festival play called Painted Peppers, and The Burial at Thebes at UArts. Sophia is a big fan of classic works such as Shakespeare and Greek tragedies, and loves exploring dark comedy and historically queer pieces.
Sophia hopes to use her skills to focus on teaching young actors who are differently abled and helping to create pathways for those told they were not "made for the stage."
She draws her inspiration from artists like Lillian Hellman and Stevie Nicks. When she's not on stage you may see her travelling, writing poetry, or at the gym!
