Train to become a versatile “triple-threat” artist and develop the skills and tools necessary for a life as a theater professional through this Bachelor of Fine Arts program. Technical Production and Management Major

Form the pathway for a career in theater production management, stage management and technical production, or prepare to pursue a master of fine arts degree. Courses focus on technical theater and stage management as a foundation for all hands-on theatrical production disciplines. All students complete a capstone course for real-world experience in technical direction, production management or stage management.

Theater Education 4+1

Earn a bachelor of arts in theater, with a focus on theater education, a masters of education degree, a super-minor in English, certification to teach in secondary schools in Pennsylvania, and perform a semester of student teaching in a high school setting. The 4+1 allows you to begin taking graduate level courses in junior and senior year leaving only 19 credit hours of graduate work in the final year after earning a BA in theater.
