The CPCA Student Success Center provides programming and support to develop current students and alumni into citizen artists and difference makers who engage in meaningful and impactful careers.
We're here to help students navigate the career search process by identifying opportunities through Temple University, Philadelphia and national databases and websites.
Earlier this month, Theatre Philadelphia announced that Sabriaya Shipley (TFM '18) would be assuming the role of Executive Director ahead of their 2023-24 season.
Since 2020, the Alumni Association of Temple University's School of Theater, Film, and Media Arts has been awarding grants to help fund alumni projects with the understanding that the body of work coming out of TFMA is made more vibrant by diverse voices.
In support of a more honest, equitable, and inclusive storytelling landscape, the 2023 TFMA Alumni Project Grant is going toward projects that amplify the voices and stories of artists of color and artists in the LGBTQ+ community.
In perhaps a precient artistic endeavour, Temple University faculty Roderick Coover (TFMA) and Adam Vidiksis (Boyer) have collaborated to create two large-scale public artworks that confront the effects of climate change on the local waterways, and will be a part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival this September 8–23, 2021.
