Temple Theaters Presents: PYP NEW VOICES in partnership with Philadelphia Young Playwrights

Once again, we will be collaborating with Philly Young Playwrights on producing our annual outreach program, that brings Temple Students together with professional directors to perform a curated performance of the best plays by local, budding, high school aged playwrights. The voices are often fresh, raw, and explosive with performances to match!

Bill 2: Lost and Found and Boys Don't Cry

Lost and Found- A wildly imaginative, hyperactive kid gets separated from her mother in the grocery store. A comic odyssey as they try to find each other, running into other customers and store workers on othe way.

Boys Don't Cry- After several years of sobriety, an estranged father wants to reestablish ties. But memories and tensnions don't go away so easily. Accompanied by rock songs, Boys Don't Cry does a brilliant job exploring how toxicity is passed down from father to son, and the difficulty of letting go of the past.
