Sam Meneses (TFM ‘17) has a life full of color. As a media production professional that specializes in color grading, her strong visual arts talents have landed her big brand projects for notable clients like L'oreal, Showtime, Vimeo, Deloitte, Amazon and so many more. She currently works for a creative studio called Malka Media which as bicoastal roots in Jersey City and Los Angeles. I asked Sam how she finds inspiration for her work and how she has found the best ways to suit the messages of her clients.
Last month, Temple alum Sabriaya Shipley (BA ‘19) became the Executive Director of Theatre Philadelphia. Founded in 2012, Theatre Philadelphia leads efforts that expand and engage audiences through the theatrical arts in Philadelphia. They helm the annual Philly Theatre Week, as well as the nationally recognized Barrymore Awards for theatrical excellence in regional theater.
Recently, marketing assistant, Alyssa Threadgill had an in-depth conversation with TFMA alumni, Angel Sigala, who on March 24, 2023, made his Broadway debut as Mateo Diaz in New York, New York!
Once again, we see Owls dotting the great Broadway stages in style! This Spring, we heard about six (!!) Temple Alums treading the boards at theaters on the famed NYC thoroughfare and we are so proud of each of them and honored to call them our alumni! (and there are probably more that we don't know about!)
It's no suprise to have Temple alums star on Broadway (check out this article from 2020 - Five Owls on Broadway) But we love to feature them when the come in bunches like this!
